Denver's Montclair neighborhood was originally developed as a small nearby suburb of Denver. Today, it's close proximity to downtown, Cherry Creek, the Lowry town center, and to attractions like the Denver Zoo make it an attractive and affordable option for many potential home buyers looking to stay close to the urban scene yet not looking for downtown living. With homes of several different architectural styles and in various price points, the area is experiencing an influx of both homeowner and investor remodels as many owners are realizing this area may be one of Denver's next up and coming neighborhoods, if it isn't already. Montclair is located just south of the Park Hill neighborhood and is bordered by 6th Avenue, Colfax Avenue, Quebec Street and Colorado Boulevard.
I recently had the opportunity to work with and represent a first time home buyer, Chip, as his buyer's agent on this remodeled brick ranch just a block off of Colfax in the Montclair neighborhood. This house is an excellent example of what's taking place with countless homes in the area, as owners and investors are putting in sweat equity and increasing neighborhood values significantly.
Congrats Chip on your incredible new home!
